As Summer Infant's Champion for global product safety, product quality and regulatory compliance, Tony is committed to performance excellence in each of his areas of responsibility. Tony joined Summer Infant in April 2005 and has assisted in the company's growth by leading the product development teams in the understanding of product safety requirements for each of the new categories that the company has entered to fuel growth.

Tony has dedicated the last 20 years to children's products business with a focus on child safety. Prior to joining Summer Infant, Tony was employed by The First Years, serving as Vice President - Corporate Quality. He is an ASTM Safety Standard Chairman for three children's product safety standard subcommittees and has held a seat on the JPMA Certification Committee for many years. He was instrumental in the development of the JPMA 2.0 Certification Program. With more than 30 years' as a dedicated Quality Assurance professional, he has prior experience with increasing roles of responsibility in Quality Management serving in the Medical Device (CR Bard) and Defense Electronics (GTE and Raytheon) industries.

Tony is a degreed Mechanical Engineer (BSME) - University of Rhode Island who has also earned an MBA - Providence College and holds ASQ Certifications as a Quality Engineer, Quality Auditor, Quality Manager and Six Sigma Black Belt.
