Lindsay Harris is a veteran of the children’s product industry with over 35 years’ experience in engineering, safety and quality management.  His 35 year career has spanned periods in both the US and Europe and he has held engineering positions up to C-Suite in the following companies;

  • Evenflo - Vice President of Corporate Engineering & Quality
  • Intertek Testing - Vice President Global Toy and Hardline Testing
  • Fisher Price – Director Product Integrity
  • Kenner Parker Tonka - Director Product Integrity Europe
  • Department of Transport – PPTO Accident Investigations & Recalls
  • Rover – Triumph - Safety Engineer

Mr. Harris has a lifetime of involvement in developing a diverse range of children’s products from Strollers to Child Restraints. He is currently chairman of the Juvenile Product Manufacturers Association (JPMA) certification committee, ASTM F15 Safety Committees for ~ 30 juvenile product categories covering Strollers to Baby Monitors. He has formerly been a member of the European CEN committees for juvenile products and Internationally ISO committees for Toys.   Mr. Harris has also been a laboratory assessor for the UK Accreditation Service where he specialized in assessing laboratories in juvenile/toy product testing.

Mr. Harris is an Honors graduate in Mechanical Engineering, a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of both the Institute of Mechanical Engineers & Institute of Quality Assurance
