LAUREL, NJ (March 10, 2017) The Juvenile Product Manufacturers Association (JPMA) has tapped Michael Rogers, Practical Futurist®, to present the breakfast keynote on Friday, May 12, 2017 at the inaugural JPMA Baby Show, a JPMA and Family Media event, in Anaheim, California. Rogers will review the more predictable activities impacting the future such as advancing technology, genomics and the development of new manufacturing materials and how they intersect with Millennial family formation. Attendees will discover what breakthrough products are on the horizon, why smart homes will get smarter, and how new parents will manage their children’s “screen time.” Manufacturers and retailers will gain insight on how manufacturers need to stay ahead of the curve by adopting a research & development investment mindset.

Michael Rogers studied physics and creative writing at Stanford University with additional training in finance and management at the Stanford Business School Executive Program. He has worked with companies ranging from FedEx, Boeing and GE to Microsoft, Pfizer and American Express, as well as both NASA and the Department of Defense.
In his frequent media appearances and addresses to business executives, venture capitalists, educators as well as the public at large, Rogers is known as a dynamic speaker who delivers an entertaining and common-sense vision of change for business and individuals, Rogers blends technology, economics, demographics, culture and human nature.
Michael Rogers’ breakfast keynote presentation will take place Friday, May 12, wrapping up conference programming at the JPMA Baby Show, a JPMA and Family Media event. The JPMA Baby Show is North America’s only trade event that combines conference, trade show, and consumer day programming under one roof at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.
